What We do
About NVEC
A group of passionate equestrians founded the Nevada Equine Council (NVEC) after recognizing the growing need for organization and unity in the Nevada equine community. Learn more about our mission, vision, and goals.
Membership
Any resident of Nevada can be a member of the Nevada Equine Council. In addition, horse clubs and equine-related businesses can also join and take advantage of membership benefits which support club growth and activities, and support the health and vitality of our equestrian industry.
Legislative
The vision of the Nevada Equine Council is to be recognized as a leader in providing broad representation to all facets of the equine industry before the Nevada State, local governments, and Congress. The NVEC collaborates with other areas of the agricultural community and helps facilitate communications between members of the equine industry and state and federal agencies.
Educational Resources
We will maintain a growing database of posts, studies, articles, and other educational materials as a central resource for Nevada's horsemen and the Nevada equine community.
Trails and Open Spaces
The Nevada Equine Council is dedicated to supporting the development, maintenance, and preservation of equestrian trails, recreation and open spaces for Nevada's horsemen and women while promoting responsible trail use and safety.
